Target bodies and Xenia |

Targets used in 2004 and 2005. |
Reduced capacity 8" Boomershoot target body |
Due to neighbor complaints from last year I'm reducing the capacity of the largest targets. I'm doing that by gluing in part of an egg carton. The results are not pretty, but it doesn't have to be. |

Joe with Boomershoot 2005 prep work |
February 22, 2005 I put foam in a bunch of 8" target bodies to reduce the capacity. It was much faster than the egg cartons. I also painted some target lids to give shooters/spotters more clues to guide each other to the target of interest. |
Three of the four target colors to be used |
White will also be used. |
The new 4" square targets |
The inside dimensions are 4x4x2". These targets will only be in red, yellow, and white. |
Fuel 2 in plastic containers |
One of the fuels used in the Boomershoot reactive targets is a solid which I purchased in a paper sack. I transfered it to something that won't draw moisture and fall apart. |
Liquid dispenser for "Fuel 0" |
"Fuel 0" used in the Boomershoot reactive target mix comes in a jug. This year we will dispense it in this which should be a lot easier than pouring it. |
Week old four inch target |
March 12, 2005. The material was still soft and fluffy. Only a small amount of caking was present. |
Reactive target mix left out for 7 days |
Usually it spontaneously combusts when left in the sun for a day or two. This time it did not. |

Grass on new shooting berm |
March 12, 2005. The grass Ry planted appears to be doing well. In another six weeks it should be usable. |

View from new berm |
Standing up there is a great view of all the target areas. Grass is coming up and doing well. |
